Jocelyn Cottencin Workshop
April 20 – May 1, 2026 | 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Forum Dança
Registration open.
At Forum Dança, we are once again opening up the PACAP training programme to the artistic community with several workshops throughout the year.
Cottencin’s performance piece Monumental, designed for twelve performers, questions how monuments and architecture shape our bodies and our shared narratives.
Involving students, residents, or performers, he invents the dialogue between bodies, territories, and narratives.
His work seeks less to produce objects than to open up spaces for thought, perception, and encounter.
His work is presented in France and abroad. In recent years, his projects have been shown at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Grand Café Centre d’Art in Saint Nazaire, the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts-Weiwuying in Taiwan, the Centre Pompidou in Malaga, Mana
Chicago, Kanal in Brussels, Uarts in Philadelphia, Frac Bretagne, Carré d’art Musée d’art contemporain in Nîmes, etc. He is also invited in various arts and dance schools in France and abroad (ENSBA/Paris, ENSBA-Dijon, Rietvelt Academie _ Amsterdam, Uarts _Philadelphia, Ensa Nantes). He is an associate artist with the Exerce/CCN master’s program in Montpellier.
*Informal presentation on April 30
