GEMEAMENTE: to merge the word into many voices. Passing it through a ring of inventions.
The invention, as it travels through memory, generates the presence that leads any magnetisms to the ends of this voice: GEMEAMENTE

T R A M A
Eleonora Fabião

29.February.2024 | from 6pm to 8pm

T R A M A – the art of clearing the way

Eleonora Fabião, a performer and performance theorist, will present the lecture ‘T R A M A – arte de abrir caminho’ at Espaço da Penha.

The talk will start at 6pm and last two hours. Participation is free, there is no need to book and availability is subject to capacity.

At this meeting I will share a series of ‘notes for thinking and performing’ and present the T R A M A project, the result of an artistic residency in the public sector carried out over the course of 2023 with civil servants from various sectors of Rio de Janeiro City Hall (transport, health, environment, education, urban cleaning, planning, security, etc.). Tables, plants and bricks are fundamental elements in this action that seeks to reverse the logic of ‘distribution’ through meetings held in the homes of some of the city’s most important aesthetic and social movements (Estação Primeira de Mangueira, Casa do Jongo da Serrinha, Rio Art Museum, Casa da Tia Ciata, Galpão Aplauso, Renascença Clube, Centro de Artes da Maré and Galpão Bela Maré). We came together to collectively imagine projects and public policies for the city and create the conditions for their implementation. We came together, human and other-than-human, everyday flesh and historical bone, ancestors from the past and the future, to weave art to pave the way. – Eleonora Fabião
