Pieces of Us

“Pieces of Us” is a collection of notes and doodles by PACAP 7 participants, created over a six-month period of workshops and collaborative work.
A doodle is a drawing without any specific meaning or purpose, a minor work, yet it serves as a way to express emotions or states of mind, cope with boredom or frustration, and reflect one’s identity to others.
Influenced by her own practice of doodling, her interest in the creative process over the final outcome, and her relationship with drawing and choreography, Katerina creates a collective drawing to explore the space between our subjective selves and our encounters.

They have landed here, unsure where. The air holds a stormy, dusty breeze. Past and distorted present collapse into ruins. While nothing belongs to them, everything is simultaneously theirs.

Stay, stay, stay

Exploring liminal spaces of travel and stillness, the artist shares stories of transitional states and invites the audience to meditate on unnoticed and overlooked intervals that shape our journeys.

Waking up after a nightmare doesn’t stop us from sleeping again

An invitation to watch over the other’s sleep, digging a hole in time. The gesture of erecting a liminal ground, between a constant sleeping and waking, care and violence, fragility and strength.

Prácticas para develar un lugar

We train to find each other, to pass twice, to get to the bottom of something, to fill ourselves up, to empty ourselves. To breathe underwater, to go to the front of the dance floor among all your friends, to listen in a different way to a place that already existed.
