[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][vc_column_text css=””]PACAP 9 is built around a collaborative collective creation process for its final performance at TBA. Taking unison as a premise for being together, we reinvent this traditional choreographic form by embracing \u2013 and complicating \u2013 its inherent impossibility of occurring as a plausible reality today. The insistence will not ignite an abandonment of the form, but rather a replacement of individualist logics with a radical choreography of togetherness and sharing.<\/p>\n

The performance was created from the practices proposed by the artists invited by the programme’s curatorial team, who are considered co-creators in this amalgam of autonomous intentions that reverberate into a shared dance. Over the six months of the programme, we tried to open our perception to what kept appearing to us in mysterious ways, and by trusting in the rigour of these subtleties, we found a piece that was already making itself through us.<\/p>\n

ANDORINHA N\u00c3O FAZ VER\u00c3O<\/em> evokes a body that is in itself a multitude of disappearing forms \u2013 a cosmology of the dead and the living \u2013 to be performed as one who practises the capacity to bend light, to move around the invisible, and to remain devoted to what is impossible to do alone.<\/p>\n

PACAP is a program organised by Forum Dan\u00e7a for professionals working in the arts who wish to engage in a period of advanced experimentation, combining it with research, artistic creation, and public presentation. Each edition of PACAP runs for six months. Its 9th edition is curated by Marcelo Evelin, with artistic collaboration by Bruno Moreno.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” border_style=”solid” up=”40″ down=”40″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n
